Proven Leader
In my experience, the best leaders are excellent listeners who aren’t afraid to make mistakes and help get things done. Accountability is an important component of being a leader. Being accountable for your actions and requiring others to do the same is foundational to effective leadership.
After graduate school, I began working in Healthcare IT. At 27 years old I started my consulting career, with only 2 years of professional experience. As soon as I started I hopped onto a plane and flew to organizations that were struggling and in need of professional guidance. These organizations were floundering because their computer systems were ineffective and, at times, barely functioning. My job was to quickly find the root of the problems, develop plans to address the issues, and execute the plan. This type of work requires individuals who are thick-skinned, direct, effective communicators, organized, and bring a positive mindset.
Experienced Problem Solver
My decades of professional experience have given me an eye for identifying problems. Implementing software can have ripple effects throughout an organization and cause unforeseen problems.
When processes are ineffective or inefficient, I see that as an opportunity. I like nothing more than getting the right resources together and rolling up my sleeves to find the solution. Once the solution is discovered and ready to be implemented it is crucial to be transparent and communicate. Changes to any organization’s ecosystem need to be effectively communicated to all stakeholders. Effective communication can take many forms and is often overlooked in larger organizations.
When others bring problems to my attention I actively listen to their concerns and ask probing questions to get as many details as possible. We then start working together to develop a plan to address those concerns.

Parent
Like all parents, we want the best for our kids and that begins with helping them get the best possible education. We moved to Bethlehem for the school system and we believe that our kids are getting an exceptional education. Our four kids are unique individuals and have different educational needs.
Jack is thriving and finishing his junior year at the University of Hartford. He has a double major and is studying Sociology and Political Science. He plans on getting his PhD and becoming a professor.
Leah is a Junior in the High School. During her time at the high school, she has performed in Shakespeare performances and is involved with Unified Bowling, Unified Basketball and takes Unified Gym class.
Jude is a Freshman and a member of the Lab School. Jude has always been a good student but has excelled within the Lab School. The cohort-based model works well for them and it has certainly helped their self-confidence and ability to work well with others. Jude is also an actor and is active in theater programs.
Cole is in the seventh grade at the Middle School. Cole played on the Modified 9 soccer team, plays on the Recreation and Travel teams for the Bethlehem Basketball Club and just started running track.
